Review Policy: 
    I'm a writer currently working on a couple of Middle Grade novel's. You can read my bio here.  My reviews will focus on Middle Grade books but I will do YA occasionally.  I'm an eclectic reader that is willing to try anything once. If you're an author or publisher and would like me to review a specific book you can contact me at torres dot pam3 at gmail dot com. 

My reviews tend to be geared toward my fellow writers. I am always interested in an author's experiences and like to list information about them, their publisher and their process. I provide sources for all the information about the writer I have obtained. If an author would like to have an original quote or interview, I am more than happy to accommodate.   

Disclaimer: I do not write reviews for any publication and do not accept compensation for reviewing a book. That said, you won't find any negative reviews because if I don't like the book I won't review it. Like art, literature speaks differently to each person and subjective negative opinions, I believe, only show a lack of respect for the art form and the creator.

    Dear Pam,
    We are a new small press in New Hampshire and are looking for some great review bloggers for our middle grade books. I was hoping we could send you a new title of ours called "Freedom Pen". It is by a debut author from rural Virginia named Dionna Mann. The story synopsis: "Being mean ain’t in nobody’s blood. Reckon folks will argue that one until there’s no more moonshine on the mountains. But in Freedom Pen that’s what Sarah the Twerp believes. And soon she and her brother, Billy, are setting out on a courageous summertime adventure to free two pit bull pups from a violent future. Will the pups’ heroes succeed in their quest, though they’ve been penned in by a violent past themselves?"

    I just published my MG illustrated book: Cindercast: A tale of tides. It's About a quarter inch tall ten year old girl who has to use her wits to survive the rising tide on the beach and find her way home.
